We understand that visiting the dentist can be scary. There are few other health interventions as intimate, invasive and as regular as visiting your dentist so we are determined to make your visit to us as comfortable and as stress free as possible. To achieve this we follow the doctrine of ‘Gentle Dentistry’ which is all about following best practice procedures to combat pain and stress.
We try to offer a same day appointment for emergency dental care, our emergency dental appointments are from midday so please contact us in the morning if you require a same day appointment. We do not offer emergency dental care to patients who do not receive regular dental care at the practice.
The Care Quality Commission has been set up to regulate all primary dental care services – both private and NHS to ensure patients are being well looked after. We take CQC very seriously and have put in place procedures that go far beyond what is required to ensure our patients a) remain safe, b) receive the best treatment available and c) are really looked after. We recently achieved the standard required for CQC in November 2013.
The PDC Patients’ Charter is unique to Parkway Dentalcare. It is a promise made by us to you to provide you with the best treatment we possibly can and the best dental care to help you maintain your oral health, wellbeing and of course smile.
